NY fly casting instructor recommendations

Hello, everybody.

Not sure if this is a right place to post this but I couldn't find a better one.

I'm planning a business trip to New York around end of April. And I was wondering if there is any fly casting faults "healer" in that area. I've been kind of fly fishing for over a decade on a small Caribbean island. I'm a self-taught one so there are bad habits. I'd dedicate a week to learn what they are and how to fix them. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Alex

Craig would be great! If he's not available/too far away, I know Mark Sedotti and Ian Devlin are both within an hour of New York City and easily reached by train.

Hey Alex,

Yes, sure, can do. Need to discuss dates, but we let's do that privately. Some of the proceeds may have to go to Paul's manly chair-bed fund ;)

I teach regularly in Central Park, near Mineral Springs cafe, off the north sidewalk of Sheep Meadow.

Cheers,
Craig

You only get to add to the manly chair fund when you come fishing with me. A pair of socks will be fine.

Thanks,
Paul

Are you kidding me or is that some kind of ritual to send socks to Paul? I do have some disposable socks but I don't want to offend someone whom I respect. I can send some special socks to make it feel very respectful :D :D :D

New York is a tricky place. I've visited it twice. Not good :)

Disposable socks? I haven’t worn socks in about three months. They sound perfect!

Cheers,
Paul

I’m only joking by the way, you don’t need to send me socks :D Hope you have a good lesson!
