Does anyone know the current status of this?
I can’t find the above schema on the ICSF website.

There's nordic championships in south sweden this weekend, so I guess those who could give a update are there, let's ping them on Monday 😉

Flycasting, so simple that instructors need to make it complicated since 1685

I trust the WCs are not concurrent. Half a world away and a two year wait are both too long to miss out on competing in even one of the 15 events on offer.

Thanks Lasse, appreciated. Any information about being at same venues? I appreciate the difficulties with getting volunteers to conduct the events, but that is a pity. Usually the WCs start on a Wednesday and go through to Saturday, so if that is the case next year, that may mean I only have to choose between events on a Saturday, assuming localities can make that possible.
Of course if the Friday is also a clash, that is another problem.
Maybe the Fly Casting will be a two day event, weekend only, if a three day event, hopefully it will be a Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Bummer,

John

Hi John

It looks like they'll be at the same venue (given that one is cast on grass and the other over water) and in the same week. Flycasting usually is a two day event, arrive and practice thursday, compete on friday and saturday, with a banquet in the evening, and go home sunday.

Looking forward to meeting again in Sweden!

Cheers

Thanks Lasse, appreciated.
That will be great if they are in close proximity. Hopefully it will be possible for casters to compete in both Championships. ICSF have a meeting in early December so we should know by then.
I too am looking forward to catching up for a chat and a cast next year, maybe even a test.
