Thank you Lasse,
bloody 56m awesome.
0.40mm- do you think if you had 0.35 this distance would not happen?
...and ( Im using 0.37mm) do you think you handle more overhang with 0.40 than with 0.35.
We could hear there was some nice breeze you had there, so maybe thinking of a rare taper in the SH, maybe thicker shooting line might be the answer.
a) thicker- better for hauling
b) thicker- more stable loop with overhang
c) thicker mono= no modification to the head ad per rules
d) thicker= 1 conection to head and no loops in guides
e) thicker mono- do uou think ,would be there much disadvatage in regards to shooting( bigger friction on the guides) with thicker mono I mean 0.35 vs 0.40??
P.s
There is 1 post here( somewhere) that Dimitri was saying that adjusting thicknes of the running line is as important as choosing the SH.

Looks like a trip to a tackle shop again

Cheers

... but now in which conditions thicker mono would be better.
I thought I will avoid this questions after Cumbria when I went with 0.37, but looks like it never stops ha ha

Hi Mike

I'm the wrong guy to ask :)

I don't think I would throw shorter with 0,05mm thinner shootingline, I also doubt I would throw further, but will probably never know for sure ;)

Overhangs the same, check my clip out on vimeo about overhang, you just want the right amount, and thats less than what can be "handled"

Yes, there was a nice breeze, its very clear when it blows straight into the micro phone, not as much or as straight as Cumbria, but I'm not complaining :D

Thing is, its almost exactly the same outfit I threw 42 in no wind with at the world championships in Fagernes in 2012

And it's the same outfit I've thrown to 61+ during practice, when I was sharp years ago... :D

Then again, its a mental game, so yes, you should definetly think about changing everything :p
The tackle shop needs you!

Funny, how we- I are chasing magical cure to longer distance. I think it is about hitting the delivery cast at right moment, with a right amount of tennsion in the loop.
I think I skip the trip to the shop.
Your answer clears a lot.
Cheers
