Pick up a rod, move 20 feet around in a speycast, then lengthen to 60 feet, and keep the angle/arc the same.

I'm curious now, why is that an "ideal" and what did you expect me to answer?

Well it’s surprising because my biggest adjustment is to lift the rod tip to a higher finishing point and simply widening the arc alone puts it lower. But we are obviously doing something different here; I’m not even sure we are making the same cast
