"There can be only one." - The Highlander. :pirate:

PS. I have a flying tank. Your argument is irrelevant.

PSS. How to generate a climbing loop through control of the casting stroke is left as a (considerable) exercise to the reader.

Thanks, Walter. I've actually found those when looking, but the straight version is sold out both and that's the one I prefer.

Hi Lars, not a direct answer to your question, but have you tried sharpening the cutting edge with a piece of TIG welding electrode. If the cutting edges aren't too damages from cutting wires etc., it really makes a difference.

Did you try the Wolff scissors?

They look the same, but who knows about quality.

Carlz, thank you very much. They look exactly the same. I’ll try and order a pair and hope they’re up to it!

I actually have a new plan. One that either requires help from someone with knowledge and experience or learning a few, new skills. I'll try taking a pair of Renomed sciccors, cut a little off one handle and then try brazing it back together.
Any advice would be appreciated :-).

Band aid's, Savlon, and a swear jar!
.... and I think I would be wary of getting excess heat to the blade from the brazing in such a small amount of material, or you could screw up the temper of the blades.
Good luck I hope it goes well!
