Clear-tip, sink-tip

Post by onyxweb »

Hi,

Rio used to make an 'Steaemer Tip' sink-tp fly line with a clear tip.

Their latest version does not have a clear tip.

Does any one else make such a thing?

Thanks,

Bass

Hey Onyx,

In fact Rio still does currently make a "streamer tip" fly line with a 10' clear (intermediate) tip, with a floating body and running line. I believe this line also comes in a 10' type 6 sinking tip as well. As far as the clear tip lines go, like Lasse said, the O.B.S. does have certain lines with a clear intermediate tip, and Rio also makes a "midge tip" line as well that has clear tips in 3' and 6' configurations. Hope this helps!

All the best,

- Mason
