Mend. You see the initial stopping point of the cast. Then the. monster cast manipulates the rod leg.

Or maybe it’s a big loop with a transverse wave trapped inside it.

(Mend is technically correct though.)

If you put the second snap in later you have some interesting presentation cast options that are more Guy Fawkes than Halloween.
