Hello from SW Florida!

Hi all!
I had a fly rod as young kid and really enjoyed popping it like a whip in the back cast more than fishing with it - what a dummy huh!😂
Anyway, I have been building rods for over 10 years now and recently added fly rod builds - so I decided I want to learn the correct way to cast and fish them. So, here I am!
Thanks,
Jon Hood 🎊🎉😁 :yeahhh:

Hi Jon
Sounds like you live in the right place to fish and have now found the right place to learn.
Consider getting a HT6 blank and building yourself what is probably the best rod to learn on ever.
A joy to cast and fish. No matter how good you get it will keep up with you and just keep on giving.

Hey Jon, welcome to the Board. Where are you currently with your flycasting?

Cheers, Paul
It's an exploration; bring a flyrod.
