I can send you the jar if you like.

The solution to back-country bread making is to build your oven out of flat rocks and line it with tinfoil. You then build your fire underneath and a second small fire on top. Of course if you are in a river valley, good flat rocks can be hard to come by.

I was thinking about actually digging out the oven but best would be a mini camp oven. I need something easy that can be done while relaxing around the fire, talking about fish and women. I don't want to knock myself out

Vegemite, being an Aussie delicacy, is made from marsupial cat shit. In a strange twist of fate, Marmite is just normal cat shit, but you wouldn't pick it from the name.

Because we get bot bored with eating the same old shit! A few years ago Ronan explored tinfoil cuisine. It had its moments. This year I'm exploring bread. And if you're going to bake bread then where better than outdoors in the New Zealand mountains, while camped next to a river? Do we need a purpose for everything in life? Life is only about finding purpose. And mine is now bread. I have the gift...make bread in backcountry - what on earth for?
Cheers, Paul
