I've often thought about the water-cooler conversations that go on in there:
'Quick, come look, he's back'
'The fishing nutter'
'Yes'
'You ever spoken to him?'
'Yes, he kept on about shooting me in the head and throwing bouncing bombs'
'Complete nut case'
'Yup'

I suppose I had my own unknown "fans" in the park I used to practice. One day, years ago, I discovered a short but very meaningful graffiti:
"Where is the fish"?

A friend of mine used to cast in a park right next to the Finnish national opera house. A very popular place for jogging, and during the brief summer, a very popular place to hang out. Sometimes people were interested and came to ask what the hell he was doing. Some discussion with some woman ended the next morning. He was a single back then.

I wasn't as lucky with my pole waving there. I did my PB in dead still there thou. It still stands. My dead still record I mean.
I'm here just for the chicks.

Having a look at overhang:
Lasse,
Great video. Thanks for sharing it.

I was amazed at how much counterflex you got with the the larger overhang values. Was that using the HT instructor rod? It appears it really snaps back quickly after MCF.

If you have the time (and the interest) I would like to see how much overhang you could use before the loop starts to fall apart with no haul. From Aitor's experiment I would expect you would get into trouble much sooner without a haul.

Thanks again,
Gordy

Hi Gordy

Not the HT, that is the ECHO instructor 5 weight rod I'm using, and a pretty heavy shootinghead with mono shootingline, that's probably the cause of the fast snap back ;)

I'd be happy to shoot some without a haul. Maybe during naptime one of the next days :D I'd expect trouble much sooner too :pirate:

Cheers

Lasse,
Thanks for taking the time to make another video with all that you have going on with a new baby.

I am getting this error for that 61209951 vimeo number.
Sorry, the video at this URL has either been deleted or never existed in the first place.
