Tilapia Might be generally bland but makes for a good fish curry as it doesn't go soggy and disintegrate. Something along these lines works well:

I've eaten them a few times both in Malaysia and Thailand. I always found the meat a bit soft. Maybe they'll taste better after living in the lake for a few months.

Good fish to eat, they sell them in our local stores.
Need to be fried slowly in olive oil/garlic and mixed herbs.
They raise them in fish hatcheries. Which is interesting as they use the Tilapia to clean out the raceways after other species have been harvested or used for stocking. In otherwords they eat the shit.
