Would agree with all that Davy. Also think there may be a problem with shiny tippet material on sunny days. Have yet to find a flouro tippet with a matt finish so have often changed back to old fashioned Maxima Ultragreen which has a nice matt finish and found improved results under bright conditions. Interestingly have seen this same material with a shiny finish in America and NZ. Think the matt finish is made in Germany..................John

Hi Thomas,
seems Tom Bell heard you. :p
Today his lines are "suddenly" only "20-30% thinner" according to his website. Seem he felt you kind of caught him cheating though?

Truth is that his lines are just different in the label compared to some other lines.
30 years ago Shakespeare sold lines with the same color and density as "Superglider". They were said to be very very slow sinking. But as soon as you had butter on your hands after eating a buttered bred those gliders were floating.
Density was near that of water.
Casting abilties of a line is one floating ones are quite another one though. Both come with pros and cons.
Cheers
Bernd

Hi Bernd

It's still not true, heads are overweight and floating and the same diameter as any other line, runningline is thinner, but that's because it's a sinker :D
