Fly Casting Masters

Just thinking aloud here.
While looking at the possibilities to be in more competitions I thought about competing against other countries.

Could it be an idea to have something like "The Flycasting Masters" in which countries compete against each other?
I don't know what disciplines should be in there and how to score, but maybe it is something to think about.

Love to hear your opinions.

Hi Bart, certainly it can be done through SL and has been with a combined Scottish/Aussie Meet. There are some problems with different casting conditions to contend with, however as a way of uniting casters I think it should be done!

Stephen Pugh (Spey caster in the UK team) had an idea of a casting 'Ryder Cup' type thing a while back - not sure how far he got with it - perhaps he's still working on it. Sounds pretty cool to me - an overall team event but with the chance to compete 1 on 1.
