Yep people, you hear what he say, lets get involved in Sexyloops...

Paul, here is an idea to get many casters and fly fishos involved( i think)

So we had a HT owners comp, but it was to much writing, and to much bulshit stories( I know , as I wrote it twice),and it took too long. Now what about, knowing that many on Sexyloops are distance and just casting freaks

I hate marketing, but I really like my idea in my head...

- DISTANCE CAST OF THE MONTH WITH 5MED
( starting month to be discused), Sexyloopers has to get involved in practice, proper video recording, that shows the laser markings on the line, the cast and the distance( no tricky gluing videos that show the fluf at 50m mark after streaching it). Lasse did it many times, so it can be done..
All videos uploaded on Youtube or Vimeo and posted on Sexyloops in a proper section.
The winner of the month gets,a bottle of SEXYLOOPS SHOOT( just an idea)
- THE DISTANCE CAST OF THE YEAR WITH 5MED
So Sexyloopers get involved, practice, record, train and post their casts here on board for the final SEXYLOOPS DISTANCE CAST OF THE YEAR( same rules apply as aboove), the month of the final cast of the year can be decided later.
I reckon,it would have a lot of benefits- Sexyloops board would be pumped, distance casters would practice more, and by,taking part in such a virtual comp, they would train for the next WC
...and the winner of the year gets a pair of TONICS( just an idea...)

- Same can be done with ST 27g

Now, more challenging, and getting guys involved more than, ever
- record, upload and post on Sexyloops- The Sexyloops Casting challenge
Let say you got 1month to record a perfect pass of the SLCC. The first to do that gets the new lovely orange fly line( just an idea).
then the secend and ellite level comes on and if you want to partecipate you need to get involved even more, by traning, asking questions on board, setting the video recorder and so on and so on..

Well that is my 2cemts. I hope you guys like it.
cheers

While practicing on the local playing field I've repeatedly been told I won't catch any fish there. And you know what - I haven't! Imagine my surprise!!!

I'm obviously doing it wrong. It appears you go fishing *with* worms and not *for* worms.

Who knew?

No Neil. You got it right, all the others are wrong.
Keep doing what you do. There are some nice worms lurking beneath.
