Just did a quick test today.
I reckon they work fine, for what I have to do with them.
Main thing is that I have proper diameters
- 5points 60cm
- 3points 120cm
- 1point 160cm( a bit short), but they did not have bigger rolls of fabric. Anyway I aim for 5points every cast ha ha ha
....and easy transport- no need for 12 different size hulahoops around my neck.
Numbers are visible, so when I have to involve someone to score my session for the Sexyloops comp they can easly do it.

A great afternoon. 34C. 85% Humidity. Still air apart from a few times when a cross shoulder breeze. My sea trot definitely came from something.

Yesterday, Copenhagen.

Sunny -2 degrees and a light breeze.

Trout D
Tcx 690
38,75 37,90

Seatrout D
Echo E3 896
47,20 46,10

First time out since the world championships in August, appart from a few outings keeping the base of certification up to date. In all fairness I did also want to be injury free before doing any distance in anger. Now I need to also get in shape

Cheers

@Lasse Bloody good casting after such a long break

@Paul 126' in no wind. Seems like you are on to it.

3th of February we have our first competition in Holland. Looking forward to see where we stand.

Thanks Bart!
Usually it means that next time I go out, I'll suck big time and thow very short even in good conditions :D

Better see if anyone in Copenhagen are up for a friendly competition so I can get some accuracy numbers in, and maybe more than four distance casts, measuring yourself while the time is running isn't optimal, but gets the blood pumping :D

Cheers
Lasse

Very difficult conditions today - the toughest I've cast in this year, some air movement but I couldn't figure out which way it was moving (probably just circling round)

#5 - best 116ft :(

[I should have used 'whip' I'm sure with 'whip' I'd of cast 130ft :D ]

We have a big meet 23/24th Feb in another part of Malaysia. Expecting a turn out of 30 anglers. First day is casting comp. The second is fishing. Will be interesting, it’s only about an hour’s drive for me (not the 10hr round trip to KL with a dodgy cooling system :p) and I’m hoping we pick up some more team members particularly for the casting. I can see the sport growing. I’m hoping to have some competiton here by the end of the year - that would be great! Maybe we can host a Malaysian Championships this summer - might be too early. We shall see.

Cheers, Paul
