It’s also possible to unmark a best answer. All the mod does is allow admin to mark a post as the preferred answer which will appear in the first post and be highlighted. It can be undone!
I was thinking about this for a while and actually asked for a summary mod with the open source developers. That’s when it was suggested that this mod would fit the bill. I believe it does!
