I notice you’ve plumbed for another classic Hardy!
Not the lightest of reels , do you find the weight adds some fulcrum to that fast late rotation in the relaxed grip you guys have been discussing in your 100’ cast discussions?. .. (I was stuck in traffic jam actually wondering about your choice yesterday )
Must admit I’ve always fancied a (tiny ) Bougle for the split ane 2wt … but that’s tackle tart-ery!

Yes! I like the look and sound of them, and they are absolutely built to last, probably a bit gaudy for a competition reel, but I quite like it

It’s funny you should say that, I like a heavier reel as it gives me a better sense of tracking, if it’s too light I find I swipe the rod out to the side a bit on the forward cast.
