Weird that you chose a muddler, Paul... recently bought a 8' six weight for fishing streamers in 2014 so tied some simple bucktails, hairwings and this muddler today:

there's helium filled air balloons hidden behind the flashy deerish' hairs. it stays above the water and the fish have to jump out to catch it. this is advanced shit ! :pirate:
