He's still ignoring me. Spoke to a mate a few weeks ago who placed an order with him A YEAR AGO, was charged and has never seen the goods, nor has he had an email inquiry replied to.
I hope the guy isn't a crook....

Re: ProSportfisher???
I placed the order on the 2nd of January and received acknowledgement and an invoice. The last order I placed with them took a while to arrive so I gave them plenty of time and only chased them up a few weeks ago as I'd heard nothing. Morten has contacted me.
Thanks Peter

Re: ProSportfisher???
No responses to my communications. At least they didn't charge my credit card. Have found a source in the US.
Thanks

Re: ProSportfisher???
These guys Lasse, no response to an email either. I've bought from them before and although it took a while to get here it did arrive. Lars put me onto them for those raw weights. They're great on a tube and I can't find them anywhere else with the same inside diameter. Screen Shot 2023-03-13 at 10....

Re: Teaching Spey
The curved / climbing sweep into the casting stroke that forms the d loop is the most problematic manoeuvre for most clients. Thanks Lee. Yeah, the instinct to go into an overhead style back cast once the rod gets in front of us seems almost incurable. Understanding of those two words "Circle&...

Re: What do you need to know.
What does a new instructor need to know about casting in order to give a relative novice an effective lesson? 1. What it is that we're trying to achieve (to efficiently use a rod to cast an unrolling loop of line that will efficiently carry the fly to the target). 2. How we do that. Triangle method...

Re: Pulling
Bottom frame that's exactly what I refer to as thrust Paul. Almost every distance caster I see finishes like that. In the top frame my view is that you are moving from the pulling into the pushing phase - that is once the rod butt has passed vertical. You are too kind mate, I'd pop half a dozen musc...

Re: Pulling
I am not a distance caster John, I hit 135 fts once and never tried again, I doubt I could hit 115 these days, and don't own an MED line. I live at 1000 meters above sea level and had a perfect wind that day. I don't rate 85 ft as a distance cast though.
