Can’t agree more but I wouldn’t put someone on a putting green and make them do it one handed while they learn to putt. What would you say are the basics of making a fishing cast?

If is not accurate the caster will not hit the intended target in the forward cast. A quick glance around any fishery will see loads of anglers casting with wide open back loops, usually followed by a tailing forward cast and they will not be sorting it out.
