Re: ICSF
ICSF - If you look closely the sums paid (membership fees) assist the ICSF executive board members to attend the various meetings for GAISF, WADA, IOC etc. on the premise to promote the sport and maintain its current status within the various world governing bodies. The ICSF should be viewed as a go...

Re: ICSF
The growth area appears to be with the fly casting disciplines whereas (unfortunately) the Castingsport has been in decline for a number of years. This was highlighted in their report. It would be intersting to see who represents 'fly casting' within the executive board or whether the existing board...

Re: ICSF
Nice to see that the biggest grass area for the ICSF events 2,5,6,7 & 9 is a football pitch that measures just 110m - lets hope that its not too windy or from the East/West as it wont be big enough. They will struggle to get 8 courts.

Re: ICSF
At the 2006 ICSF World Championships / Emerald World Masters, had Heywel Morgan as the announcer and what a great job he did. His knowledge on all the casting styles being used, the competitors along with the odd joke was great to witness and be part of. I've still got the DVD from the event and it ...

Re: ICSF
Whilst I cannot comment for recent years, there has been a reduction in the number of countires participating at the World Championships (Castingsport), reading between the lines, the biggest hurdle is cost of participation and travel. I should really bring that attendance chart up to date. 2019 WC'...

ICSF
One issue that needs to be addressed is the trend of reducing numbers at the prestigious World Championships, unless the focus is now on the 'City' events ? I have mapped the number of attendees per country from 2004 to 2014 as the cost increases the numbers decrease :???: 2005 & 2007 where European...
