Does anyone know how to avoid skin rash on the inside of the thighs due to repeated contact with sand and coral dust when wading for hours in tropical water ?

As you know, Italian Casting Style is designed for short and medium distances, not for long distance casting, and I never make a TLT/TS style thrust with more than 10-15 meters of line.
