Re: Photos 2020

Is that the tarp I left or one of the tarps Stefan gave you? Mine was quite roughed up by the boats corners but it was much lighter and fragile than Stefans ones.

Re: Mr. Sexyloops' Birthday

Happy birthday mate. Catch a few trophy fish and relax at the campfire. I'm sure that is what really makes it your best birthday presents!

Re: Raccoon Loud Mouth

Actually I would like some tips on how to sort my flies. How are you others sort yours? Wets, nymphs, dries and so on, together or in their own boxes, by season or any other way?

Re: Raccoon Loud Mouth

I've got some muddlers in the box you gave me. One with fluo yellow head and a pair of normal ones. One seems to be the Grenadier style with orange seal fur. I made a couple of small loudmouth poppers. I'll post some pics so you can see if it's any good to use.

Re: Raccoon Loud Mouth

The muddlers I've made are with black and orange deer hair with black marabou tail and orange with orange zonker in dubbing loop and hair tail, without the skin. Just experimenting. I'll try the loudmouth popper style too.

Re: Raccoon Loud Mouth

Thanks Paul!
I have tied some Diving Caddis by taking the bunch all around the shank and tying it but I want to get proficient at spinning too, just for the sake of it. I'll try your way too.

Which size foam cutter would you use then? I've got the kit so that's all good.

Re: Raccoon Loud Mouth

I don’t really trout fish much nowadays but I can imagine that a muddler minnow sized Loud-Mouth would be a killer. What size hook/shank are you referring to here? I have just begun tying muddler head flies, a bit tricky to get consistent. I have a patch of particularly stubborn deer hair that does...

Re: Rod reviews

Paul: Of course they sell the rods and Before I bought I bought my first rod I read the Yellowstone Anglers review and believed them. Then I happened to stumble upon Sexyloops and some things came to light. Lasse: When I worked as a carpenter I had certain favourite hammers within the same given wei...
