Rod reviews

I just clicked the link to Fly Fishers Pro and their page title "What are the Best Fly Rods in 2019?" There I saw a summary of the pro's and cons of the rods tested. I guess that they want to sell rods so probably there is marketing bullshit mixed in their reviews but it made me curious. What makes ...

Re: Sexyloops Gathering 2020

I am interested in attending the meeting. Bosnia sounds cool. But I think I might have to skip the trip to fish with Stefan this summer then, that I have loosely planned to do instead of messing around with Paul in the jungle. It depends on my economy.

Re: Royal Wulff Long Belly Fly Line

Paul has his white longbelly Thunderbolt line though it only seems to be available in 5 weight now. The orange tropical Thunderbolt in 6 weight is available as is Lumiline 6 weight DT intermediate. All his lines conforms to AFFTA, or so he says anyway :D https://www.sexyloops.com/index.php/webshop/l...

Re: Greeting and salutations from the UK!

Welcome Nick!
It's nice to see other musicians here. I play surdo drums in the band Yakumbé since twenty years now and the drum set for another 20 in various punk bands. We're on Spotify if you care to have a listen.

Re: Field Repair Tips

Yes I recall that you told me. That's why I always looked in to my shoes before putting them on. I guess that the cortison pills might reduce the pain and lessen the shock, which is not a good state to be in. But I am just guessing here.

I have made a thread stand because I got sick of having them in an old plastic box and I had salvaged some nice looking pieces of birch fire wood that I found at work. I have cut out some pieces sanded stained and sanded like hell again and it comes alive for real with some raw linseed oil. Raw mate...
