Re: Pairing lines to rods

It’s not like a pair of jeans that say 32” but are really 38” so that you don’t think you’re a fat barstool. It’s about leaders and fly sizes; important fishing stuff. If my 4WT line weighs a 7WT then I can’t fish tiny flies without getting broke off. “Oh that’s ok; I’ll just fish a dog nobbler ins...

Re: Drone photography and video

There are many of those commercially available and most are so cheap that it's hard ly inventing some yourself. I'm quite pleased with this one.

Re: Drone photography and video

Well, I'm a certified drone pilot - necessary in Denmark to fly in some areas. Basically the certificate gives you the right to ask for dispensation to fly in areas where it's otherwise not allowed. There are a good number of rules to know - for instance you're not allowed to fly closer than 200m to...

Re: Shooting Heads for Huchen

That of course depends of on the leader he's using. Huchen can grow big, so I suppose runs into the shooting line are frequent/at least to be foreseen? In that case, the shooting line *must* be stronger than the leader, which is of course old knowledge to most. Because the core strength of the shoot...

Re: Wing burners

No, I haven't found these (yet), I'm still hoping.
I have a old brass set as well, the Tiemco ones (which are excellent, btw) and a set of Renzetti's. It's just that he shape of the wings these make are spot-on perfect.

Re: SA intermediate sink lines?

I have a few of the SA intermediate lines, and I generally find them very, very good, so I assume that there's no reason to think that the saltwater versions should be any different. They are app. half a line weight heavy, but very good lines.
