WC Accuracy Rules

James... I have absolutely no doubt that in a competition I would score a number of zero’s :D .... like you say I reckon the only way to get the technique sound and relaxed whilst doing it would be loads of practice and ideally regular comps. I’ll have to see if I can make up a couple of hoops with ...

WC Accuracy Rules

Hey James Don’t misunderstand... i’m definitely not saying it’s easy, but even so 180cm is still fairly generous, if you practice I reckon you should feel fairly confident of landing within 180cm. I’d be pretty disappointed when fishing if I missed my spot by nearly a metre. But you’re not gonna pla...

WC Accuracy Rules

Cheers Lasse, I could have sworn i’d read S Rajeff had got perfect scores, obviously i’d dreamt it, I need to get out more!
.. so 78 would mean hitting the inner circle target 15 out of 16 attempts.... not a bad effort :D :D :D

I’ve still got ‘some’ room for improvement

WC Accuracy Rules

I had a look through the thread and don’t think I missed the full rules, do the ones pasted below look as though they are still the appropriate rules? I’m surprised the outer ring still carries a score out to 180cm, I fish streams narrower than that :D .... although I would guess that for most compe...

New to the bord Fredrikstad, Norway

It’s down to language Dag... I’m fairly new to sexyloops site and struggle to follow some of the discussion... but in technical descriptions people have moved away from describing in terms of load... feeling the loading of the rod is a term I would also use, but many who really want to break down an...

MCI in USA

Cheers Graeme...
I guess if I do decide to go down the test route I’ll have to switch over and practice with the 6w more.

As I practice and fish mostly on my own I hadn’t really considered the heavier line weight being beneficial for the examiner or student.

Cheers

MCI in USA

This isn’t a particular MCI test question as equally relevant to any of the certificates or for that matter just practicing. Most people seem to suggest a 6 or 7w, whether for the MCI or AAPGAI, but if you were to follow through the idea of practicing with the rod you fish/practice most (that’s ment...
