I use This one. Ca 1 kilo weight, really cosy! Have a big cover for your back pack and shoes and stuff. I sometimes bring a separate tarp.

Change of line weight
Hi Vince! I can relate to This. A few times each year i fish my short cane rod or my spl and usually This happens. I get back on track by doing some puald casts, and a false casting without double haul starting with minimum power usually just takes a few minutes.

So the situation is as follows. Big klassic pool but deep, maybe 7 meters or so. 60 m long 40 wide. On the bottom a big trout possibly a trophy :) feeding lazy on nymphs. What would you do? I am thinking trying a streamer or mouse at night, or a long nymph rigg with shots dead drifted from upstream....

Btw the slickest line-to-leader-knot i have ever had was the one George Andersson made for me in his shop. First splice and then the knot, really nice! Tried it myself but never got it right.

Leader conection
Hi! Is anyone using the splice and glue conection for trout fishing? I used it a week in slovenia This year worked Well. Then I pulled it of and and since then i just used the old blood knot out of lazieness. But it was really nice casting and fishing with, fellt really clean you know :) Regards Simon
