That would pretty well describe it Bernd. I try to poke the rod into the trajectory of the loop at the very last of the straightening until I run out of arm. I guess its why I don't create the classic "sexyloops" shape.

We've come a long away since that article. The ultimate outcome of pulling should be pushing, but from a very strong position. We push (or thrust if you like) to finish the cast, but to get into the best position to finish (in my view), we delay the end of the rotation sequence (the final speed up) ...

In my view it’s the most challenging, and most interesting, sector of the market to work in too.

And I find it also extremely rewarding. Getting someone to the point where they can actually admire THEIR loops, and catch more fish is very satisfying - even better when they send you pics.
