Re: Drone photography and video
I had a Mavic Air 1 and swapped it for a Mavic mini. Less hassle with charging was the main reason. These little drones are really impressive. However, a set of proper ND filters really ups the game a lot. For best results you need to have your shutter speed related to your fps by the so called 180 ...

Re: Drone photography and video
The thing I struggle with is reflection off the iPhone when trying to see what’s going on when flying. I think I’ll need to invent some sort of hood. I bought a hood which works really nice. Basically it's a square tube made from fabric supported by some sort of insert (like baseball cap brim). It ...

Re: Chadwix wool
I have wld theory to offer. Has any of you ever thought about the electricity generated by mixing copper and steel? The killer bug and the original pheasant tail are both tied with copper wire wound around the steel of the hook. No thread insulating in between. Fish certainly would react to that, wo...

Re: What is a good angler, what is a good fly caster?
Hi Thomas, You definitely need that attitude if you are to keep getting better and never plateau. What makes them really good in your eyes? Cheers, Paul Wether someone I able to double haul or not does not matter to me. That is purely a technicality. Nice, sure, but not of importance to be good ang...

Re: What is a good angler, what is a good fly caster?
Most folks I met that were really good at music or angling thought of themselves as constant beginners. These people were humble and never seized to learn new things. There's always something new.

Oversaturation - FP by Martyn White on Sunday, 18 October 2020
Nice write. The weirdest thing I have ever seen is a man made creek in Sweden. .... No thanks. I agree with you, however, I even can not be bothered at all fishing stock ponds and stocked fish. I'd rather not fish than. Weird? Maybe, but I find it even more weird to do that. To me counts how natural...
