Great casting guys!
I wish Paul would also join us.
But he is probably busy on his challenge #2. Oh no, he first had to do challenge #1 :p

Cheers, Bart

Yep I’ll get an entry in. It’s quite complicated to arrange. Last time I was in town I brought the wrong line :D I’ll be back there on Sunday.

Ok, second try, this is seriously a hard challenge :D
Slight improvement since last try, but far far far from being away from the bottom here. 37,5 meters or 123plus feet. So much to improve on!

This is Tracy's 2nd go - 107ft. Any tips for training for a more 'explosive' finish?

Hi James,
After watching Tracy's cast sequence on HD and SlowMo repeatidly.
Would it be benficial for Tracy to hold her body position at the end of the backhaul longer, start the casting sequence with her arms and then adding the body movement, effectivley adding the body weight to the cast rather than before ?
Just a thought.

Thanks Andy, I'll pass that on and see if she can implement it at our next casting session.

James,
Change the settings on the playback to HD1080 and 1/4 speed.
Tracy’s body movement has completed before her arms come in to play.
The haul could be fraction later to maximise the additional acceleration and increase the line speed.
The elongated movement of the casting hand/arm might be over extending Tracy’s range, it might be worth shortening the travel on the backcast.
It still amazes me how Steve Rajeff achieves big distances with such a short arm stroke.
Good luck
