This is getting very late to make arrangements now; flights are getting more expensive by the day and we still have no details about the rest of the charges. I think there's a good chance some won't turn up if they leave it any later.

Will the situation in Ukraine have any effect on this?

Malaysia is reopening borders April 1st to travellers so Ashly and I are planning to attend. In fact I’ve started practising :D

Has any of you guys contacted the Norwegian casti g federation?

We probavly won't even have a national contest this year, so have no idea if we can even set a team....

Ciao
I spoke to Thorgeir and he put me in contact with a man named Marius.
I spoke to Marius, because a part from booking flights, the Airport- WC locations transfers are very important to me.
Marius said that they planing to open the registrations on the 15th of March.

Yes, the situation in Ukraine is not helping. Little scared of long flights now....

Below, I don't do politics, or other shit, just wanted to know...

I asked Thorgeir again, but this time about Russian team competing in our WC.
They putting all sorts of sanctions on Russian including sports events, so will the Russian team be allowed in WC in fly casting? ( their team is strong)...
...will the WC happen, or do we wait until it's over?

The ICSF meeting is on the 22nd of March and they might address this issue.

I'm planing to visit my family in Poland, last thing I want is to stuck in the middle of a fucking war

Maybe they should send the invites after the ICSF meeting.

@ James9118 - based on the last 15+years, invites tend to be publicised no more than 13weeks before the event with a short timeframe for registration etc.
