New to the Board

#1

Post by Dave Warren »

Hi guys!!! I’ve joined the sexyloops gang this week, absolutely loving the #6 thunderbolt and most recently grabbed the HT #4 of which I’m very happy with indeed.

I’ve been fly fishing since I was around 7, had a few lessons and then went fishing basically.more recently I’ve decided to pull my casting apart and see how I can improve. Threw my first 100’plus this week with the help of Nick Moore and the awesome advice I’ve soaked up here already.

Looking forward to chatting with you all at some point!

Hi Dave and welcome to the Board! It’s great to have you here :)

Where do you spend most of your time fishing? (No secret spots :p)

Cheers,
Paul

That will be the Sunny Uk!!

I fish for anything and everything to be honest, for trout I fish the usual Uk still waters. I also fish the Derbyshire wye, derwent for trout and greyling including the wild rainbows! I fly fish canals for perch, zander & pike as well as that I do a fair amount of lure angling.

With 2 young daughters and a business to run I don’t have as much time available as I’d like but I’ll make up for it one day!!

Paul. Winter brings on fly tying, some woodworking and spending money on more gear! Thank goodness my honey has a good job! Guiding certainly doesn't cover my addiction! This winter is all about theory of the cast and gearing up for MCI!
