New to the Board? Please ask a question!

Hi guys and girls and particularly new members or members lurking in the shadows. Something that irks me on other forums is that they ask you to search and read previous discussions to hunt for your answer before asking your question. I don’t want you to do this!!! Just come in and ask. If it’s already been discussed at length then we can always find the appropriate link for you, but chances are if it’s an older conversation we’ve probably changed our minds about it anyway 
That annoys me so much because forums are not just about figuring out new stuff; they are about having a community of like-minded (and sometimes not-so-like-minded
) people.
There is a huge depth and width of obscure knowledge on this Board. Talking of which are there any mushroom hunting experts here?
