Analysing loop propagation 3

Post by Paul Arden »

Hi James, in the previous discussion you said that you disagreed with the contents of this paper and I was wondering why?

https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/37776458.pdf

Incidentally from what I can see in the real world is that that loop seems to travel at a fairly constant speed, until it reaches the front taper. I also disagree with a semi circular loop shape and it should be a quarter loop. But I’m not in the position to start rewriting it :D

I notice Merlin is cited at the bottom :)

Thanks,
Paul
It's an exploration; bring a flyrod.
