Absolutely. Actually that’s a very good question. Most of my “practise” over the years has been with 5 and 6WT lines - the blob of fluff would be the equivalent of being a size 10 Palmered fly. When I do cast line class 8 is bigger fluff and 10 class is considerably bigger again.

I’m sure we could dream up a glo-bug yarn size to line weight formula. It’s important however not to think of it as a glo-bug because the wool is fluffy and not packed tight.

I don’t like glo bugs by the way :D
