Samurai tippet material

Does anyone know where I can buy this? The only place I've found it is a small tying box on the Ribnik. I didn't get to visit the Ribnik this year and so might run out. I can't find out anything about the manufacturers online, and I'm not sure who the European distributors are either!

Alternatively can you recommend anything similar? Stroft? The .10 is .10 (I measured it). I can't tell if it really is 2Kg breaking strain but I do know that I have no problems sticking fish to 3 or 4 pounds using it!

Thanks, Paul

FFS don't try ordering from them Paul

If that is the stuff you have a mono designed for pole fishing - you'd have to look in coarse shops - good luck!

Could be. Looks like a small independent brand to me, spooling a Japanese mono. I can find nothing about it in the UK.

the stated bs for the diameter on the lines from the photos is UBER optimistic for a monofilament.

The stated diameter is accurate - I've measured them all. I can't attest for the breaking strains. That I would question. If you don't tuck the knots they slip. But it really is excellent stuff and cheap too.

Cheers, Paul
