Does anyone have experience with the medium action version of these rods? The loop blurb suggests they have a casting action that sounds similar to loomis which is perfect for me but I have no shop near me that stocks them to try one
I like the slower action type rods where you can feel the rod load and unload through the whole length

Can I please sneak across your thread and ask about the Loop 7X also? But really to find out if it's simply 'too fast'?! I'd like to give one a crack just to see. Like the Cross SW, they are offering the 7X either as a medium fast or fast action - making me wonder if the medium fast is up my alley for freshwater (NZ backcountry) or still faster than I prefer ...
