I'm not sure that there is a work around on that one. Can you not login automatically?

I noticed a couple of MODS that can be integrated to the Board.

1) a possibility to "thank" posters. I think this might be a bit like FB likes. Personally I've always preferred to write thanks, or nice post, in a reply. But it's an option we could try...

2) An automated round up of posts that can be sent to your email address. This can be set daily, weekly or monthly. I am looking to start the Snapcast mail shot again in the next week or so, with links to current Board discussions so it might be redundant.

Let me know what you guys think.

I'm still working on the archived Board. I hope to get this running again tomorrow - although it's possible I need Windows software to convert the database. In which case it won't be tomorrow but will take a little longer. I plan to go fishing on Saturday!

I certainly can log in automatically, but it was not needed before, which allowed looking at threads and then decide or not to log in for a post.

Yes it did Merlin. That’s because the software wasn’t “responsive”. Responsive is when the look of the page changes between desktop, notepad and phone. The front page of Sexyloops does this for example.

What I don’t understand is how you are able to read the board on desktop version on an iPhone. You must have superman vision!!!

I do not have a particular vision, I use glasses as many people do. Practically I shift the screen from right to left to look at threads.
My iphone is not a state of the art one, it is a #5.

In that case I'm surprised you don't find the responsive theme easier. On the previous version we had a mobile option which I used on my iphone. There is no doubt however that the responsive pro silver theme is far better than the mobile version we had then. It's a pity that the landscape option doesn't fit your screen size.

That's great Piffen. I hope to get the old archived forum fixed soon. There's lots of great information in there. This will take a bit of juggling but we will get there.

I may even have the Board prior to that one locked away somewhere - now that would be funny!

I don't remember if there was a notification in the former board, but I like that on this there's a clear notification that someone answered my post. Very handy. I really like this. Great job Paul!!
