Rather than re-download I purchased the two episodes I hadn't already, then enabled Airplane mode. As Malik says they will not play.

It's a cunning plan to get everyone to download all episodes 
Obviously there's a problem! The programmers will have to fix it and send the upgrade to Apple for approval. I'll keep you all informed as to the progress. Sorry about the fuck up!!!

They have lots of conditions that Apps have to conform to. The fix is up for review again at the moment.
