I enjoyed that one paul,especially the adding a haul.
Big question here on the Italian style long distance spey cast ,as done by Edgardo Döna,are there any links to this style ,or even any writing .
I am intrigued by this and can find little ono mention apart from the snowbee site which gives no info on how its done !

Hi Andy, sorry no I don't know it. My longest Switch casts actually come from an aerielised snap. Maybe some here knows a link for the Italian style?

I've seen some youtube clips, as well as seen it in real..
I have asked permission to use it in competition and gotten a no :D

It's a jumproll, have to be done standing on land, kick the line back so only a small part lands in water, the rst on a big d loop. After the d loop lands on the ground, make your forward cast.

This is what italians call FRLOER CAST,
They invented something new a while ago. You cam even google it.
They have a lot of it on italian forum.

Obviously for that variation of the cast to work well requires a strimmer :p
