the rod tip is just a point in space, the connection that will influence the line. (to me, the most important one and the only thing i really care about. all the rest, rod bend, power application or whatever comes second)
i'm 'Tip-Centric' !!!
in that regard, imo, the point's support (rod) is irrelevant because we could have the tip in the exact same spot in space but the rod could be at any number of degrees around that point.
as we see in Aitor's video at the 1 minute mark is a BC that starts (rod tip and rod angle) in 'correct' positions, but the 'problem' starts to happen when the tip is pulled offline. pull it offline from any other angle and the 'problem' is still there.
