I’m happy to use the term “technique” rather than “style” for our purposes. I think that will be simpler and we should probably avoid the term “style” altogether. :)

Yep, correct decision, now we can focus on casting technique exposure.

I’m still not entirely sure how we will do this. One idea is to analyse some well known casters. But also it might be a good opportunity to allow for reader uploads where we can analyse their stroke. That way we could kill two birds with one stone.

I’ll find out about a video upload platform for Sexyloops so we can bypass YouTube/Vimeo. I’ll have an answer in a few days.

What do people think about combining stoke analysis with research into stroke fundamentals as well as analysing members’ strokes along with giving advice? We should certainly start with analysing some techniques like 170, closed stance accuracy, Rajeff style distance etc.

I haven’t heard back from my web people on a video uploaded for the Board. I’ll ping them again.

You could also make a checklist, on which to mark the various movements, of each pitcher, to find at the end a sufficient number of movements to define the area in which to place it? 🤔
