Yep you’re right of course, it would help reduce loop size and increase the ease of the shoot for sure, Lasse!

To be honest I can’t pick up sunk pike flies from any sort of distance. The nice thing about medium sized poppers is not only can you pick up from distance but you can slip line while doing it.
