Crap, sorry to hear mate!Lee Cummings wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 9:49 amKnow that feeling...
Angela has to put in her leave from work very early, which she did.. Now the dates have changed, it rules her out
Problems in the same line here, one almost certain member of the team had to hand in early too, and probably can't go now...
Since we can't just take the kids out of school and have no babysitters, we where looking into Silja going for the speyday and then driving home and swapping for me for the rest of the days, the current pricing however is somewhat out of our budget...
Cheers
Lasse

Flycasting, so simple that instructors need to make it complicated since 1685
Got a Q++ at casting school, wearing shorts

Re: Swedish Worlds 2020
I hope so too Lee, would be hilarious, having the WC 2 hours drive from home, and then not being able to participate
At least I'll swing by and see the finals
Cheers

Maybe she could call in sick? I hear there is going to be a nasty flu around about August in Cumbria...

Re: Swedish Worlds 2020
Hi James,
The Fly Casting WCs will be held in Sweden as per the ICSF website and others.
The Casting Sport WCs (events 1 to 9) is in doubt for 2020 due to the withdrawal of Sweden’s proposal to host them in 2020 and the difficulty of arranging an alternate host by September 2020.

Thanks John - I think that ICSF page needs editing, it's a bit ambiguous as it is.
Cheers, James
