A freezing dull winters day of driving wooden stakes into the river bed to pin down some large logs blown in from the recent storms . My Christmas present to the trout and the fishing club.
Not so much Bah Humbug, more day dreaming of long summer evenings and rising trout, while working up a sweat and an appetite.
Wherever you are on the globe, and whatever you believe, I hope your getting a bit of what you want with a warm glow and smile on your face.

I cooked my annual Nut Loaf which I’ll be eating until next year (and a little bit beyond). All stocked up for a week on the boat now. Head south Tuesday and back online Saturday. Fishing is good right now so I’m a bit preoccupied
