Picking targets for tracking

#1

Post by Paul Arden »

Hi guys/ladies,

A funny thing happened recently, while teaching to pick targets both back and front to line up tracking, I was asked which targets I was picking. That's when I realised I've actually stropped picking targets and have got so used to looking in the right place that I don't need to establish that with a target. I still look of course, but only where I want the line to go.

I'm guessing that quite a few will have found the same. Just an observation really.

Cheers, Paul
It's an exploration; bring a flyrod.

The first cast is always the best cast.
