Well, SA did have that 7% more distance with sharkskin than their other lines, which didn't really hold true... Agree on the straightness of Bruce's arrows though!

"50% less friction" I was told to be expected via direct email with the designers though.
SA always had measurements for friction and Bruce indeed always was straight with his information!
I'll give it a go and try. :pirate:

I have a snowbee thistledown floating line described as a 2-5wt. Touches down quietly but is very poor floater. Barely floats is a good description. Mine is mono core. I beIieve a new braided core version is available which might float better...might

So it's a single weight line covering four line weights.

Right .... :glare:

Outside :D

From the link I posted, the thickness of the head should be 0.65mm, thats almost half as thivk as the thickest part of a MED 5 weight... I take these thistledown linea are either meant for TLT casting or someone measured wrong...

Has fashion moved from wonder rods to wonder lines ? (must confess to quiet liking the Snowbee on a 4 or a 5 its good for short to medium range stuff. Not a line for long drifts)
