Worth a cast?

Europa's plumes make Jupiter moon a prime candidate for life.

How's your underwater casting Paul? (There's no surface water ...)

It's an interesting theory that's been around for a few years now. If there's anything there, it's not likely to be much more than microbes

I have underwater fly fished before, Graeme, many years ago in Thailand. However one has to be careful in new environments such as this, where there may be fish that see the diver-angler as prey and not the other way around, which would of course mean that they've crossed that line into an extreme form of bait fishing. It's not the fly that is the problem - one could easily tie a fly that imitates ourselves, but rather that we are ground baiting just by our very presence. If you've fly fished for crocodiles you'll understand the distinction. Of course this is not to say that you cannot imitate a person with a fly and still be fly fishing - of course you can - but you have to imitate a different person, for example a hatch of swimming backpackers, and not yourself.

Cheers, Paul

“All these worlds are yours. Except Europa. Attempt no landing there.”
Be careful, very careful
