When re-wrapping a rod you often can see where the guide feet were previously located.
Great 😊
So I don’t have to buy the Flex Coat guide foot.

For double foot guides thin masking tape works fine. You can just slice up regular masking tape or buy thin stuff.
Fix down one leg, align, put a thin band close to the base of the foot you’re wrapping, start your wrap and extend onto the foot up to the tape, remove tape band, finish wrap, then do other side.
Alternatively some guys use the small rubber bands sold for dental braces to hold the guide and cut them off as the wrap proceeds.
Guide adhesive works well for single foots. Warm the guide foot, wipe on the glue stick, touch to the blank. It hardens in seconds but is weak enough that the guide can still be repositioned once the wrap is done.
