Hi Lou,

Mono to knottable wire. And by knottable I mean actually knottable! But it’s also a good knot when the mono has a big diameter change. Eg 40->20lbs. And the 20lbs can have a Bimini if necessary.

Ah, I take it where you fish requires wire. Just tried tying the knot, I like it, simple & quick.

Hi Lou,

Yep Giant Snakehead without wire just isn’t going to happen. I don’t know how they do it, but one in ten will bite clean through 30lb wire. I always thought this knot was Australian because of its name :laugh: but apparently not!
